PILLAR ONE: SHAHADAH
•The first pillar is the statement of faith
•You must say this statement at least once in your life to show that you accept Islam
•The statement is: "There is no god but God, and Muhammad is his prophet."

PILLAR TWO: SALAH
•The second pillar is daily prayer
•As a Muslim you must prayer five times a day; before sunrise, at midday, in late afternoon, right after sunset and before going to bed
•During these prayers you are invited to a mosque to have proof of accepting Allah

PILLAR THREE: ZAKAH
•The third pillar is yearly donation to charity
•You must pay part of your wealth towards religious officials
•The money goes towards help for the poor, building mosques, or paying depts

PILLAR FOUR: SAWM
•The fourth pillar involves fasting during the month of Ramadan.
•During this fasting the people of Islam can't eat or drink between dawn and sunset
•This represents that the Allah is more important than the body

PILLAR FIVE: HAJJ
•The fifth pillar is The Hajj
•This pillar says that once in your life, you must travel to Mecca. This journey is known as The Hajj
•Mecca is one of Muslims most sacred places, but even more important is The Kabba, which is located inside Mecca
