THE FIRST SIX AMENDMENTS

THE FIRST ADMENDMENT

  • The First Amendment guarantees freedoms concerning religion, expression, assembly, and the right to petition. So it gives a normal person basic rights.

THE SECOND AMENDMENT

  • The Second Amendment (Amendment II) to the United States Constitution protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms and was adopted on December 15, 1791. So it gives people the right to carry weapons.

THE THRID AMENDMENT

  • The third amendment states that places restrictions on the quartering of soldiers in private homes without the owner's consent, forbidding the practice in peacetime.

THE FOURTH AMENDMENT

  • The fourth amendment states that a person has the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly ...

FIFTH AMENDMENT

  • The fifth amendment is being accused from a crime when you didn't even do. Before you go to a trial, you have to be indicted. No double jeopardy. It protect you from double jeopardy. It means that if you commit a crime and there is no evidence for you, you are let go and you can not go back even if you did steal the bike. Plead the fifth. THE SEVENTH AMENDMENT

  • When the value and question is over 20 dollars, you have the right to trial in a jury.

THE EIGHTH AMENDMENT

  • The punishment has to fit the crime. No cruel or unusual punishment. No excessive fine bail.
