The First Amendment was created December 15,1791

The first Amendment gives American citizens basic rights such as expression, religion, assembly, and right to petition the government.

The state of Virginia approved the First Amendment.

The First Amendment was primarily the third of 12 recommended Amendments but, the first two were not originally valid.

Freedom of speech

The First Amendment says "Congress shall make no law stopping FOS"
1st Amendment that says, "Congress shall make no law... abridging the freedom of speech."

- States that the government shall make no law "respecting to practice religion"
