OVARIES
The ovaries are the female reproductive organs that produce eggs and the hormones estrogen and progesterone.
Ovaries release a mature egg (ovum) every month.

Eggs are the sex cells of females and can be fertilized by sperm.
When an egg and sperm join, a new life begins.

THE PATH OF THE EGG
Once released from the ovary, the egg moves through the Fallopian tube towards the uterus.
The uterus is where the egg can be fertilized/developed.

FALLOPIAN TUBE
A Fallopian tube is a female reproductive organ that connects an ovary to the uterus.
(Egg travels through this to uterus)

A muscular organ about the size of a fist.

Cystitis, vaginitis, delayed puberty, menstrual cramps, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), toxic shock syndrome, endometriosis, ovarian cyst, and cervical cancer. :(

Always wipe front to back.
Exercise regularly/healthy diet.
Wash le area.
Change sanitary napkins/tampons every 4-6 hours
Have an annual exam.
