PRESENTATION OUTLINE
WAYS IT GETS RID OF WASTE
- Integumentary (skin)
- Urinary
- Respitory (carbon dioxide)
The integumentary system get rid of liquid waste
(sweat) through pores in the skin. The reason we do this is to cool down our body temperature so we keep a steady body temperature.
The urinary system get rid of liquid waste (urine) also, but in a different way. The urine is mostly made up of water, but stuff from the blood stream that isn't needed also is in urine. The urine is released from the urethra, preferably in a toilet.
The respites system gets rid of a gaseous waste (carbines dioxide). When we breath in oxygen, we transfer it throughout the body, and we do gas exchanges, then we I get carbon dioxide. Then we have to release it since it is poisonous to us. So we release it through our mouths, and we breathe in more oxygen and repeat.
2 diseases associated with the excretory system.
