BEHAVIOUR

  • These wolves are highly social animals, but due to the small amount of habitat available to the wolves, they form small packs.

REPRODUCTION

  • The Eurasian Wolf's mating time is around January to March. Once the female is pregnant, the 6-7 pups are born only seven weeks later, and the male helps to feed them, regurgitating the food.

DIET

  • The Eurasian wolf's diet mainly consists of medium sized animals such as wild boars, red deer and occasionally small animals like frogs. The biggest pray that a Eurasian wolf has ever eaten is a yak.
