HOW DID THE 8TH AMMENDMENT COME ABOUT ?

  • Bill of Rights
  • To protect the citizens against
  • unfair treatment, when convicted
  • or accused.

How did the Eighth amendment come about?

  • They were upset with the way
  • the British treated them and
  • wanted to make sure there
  • would not be an abuse of power
  • in the new government.
