Chinese like to eat mild food for breakfast
porridge is common for families in China
Eating breakfast together is a reunion for families
They like to eat dim sum and drink hot tea with their families or friends
The difference culture between the U.S. and China also includes study in school.
In China when teacher says "class begin"
In some schools, when the teacher enters classroom, the Monitor calls out “Stand-up” and all students must stand up immediately.
When all students stood up, the teacher says:”Hello students!” all students will answer: “Hello teacher!” and they bow to show their respect.
In the U.S., the atmosphere of classes is more active and relaxed than China.
It's very active in the classroom
Everyone is eager to ask or answer questions
High school and college students are also like the same way.
As students, teachers also more relaxed.
The primary school teacher is the same.
Students are also pemmited to sit on the table.

The students are more relaxed.
As the student, our teacher was also relaxed.
The major different from China, our class is what via various activities in daily life to learn English, instead of just in a classroom. It makes the learning were more active, efficient, and interesting. The followings are examples.
March 1, we went to a community care home to meet seniors.
Teacher asked us to meet a senior. Tell one's story to each other.
While waiting seniors, we practiced one’s story.
April 14, we visited Oakland Museum.

Our class is finished successfully. The Final Exam is being carried out on May 19 and 24. All classmates are full of confidence to perform their presentation. The following pictures are part of them.
To sum up, the difference between our class and China, it is more active, more open, and contact with practice; therefore, it’s more interesting. However, in China, it is more inclined to learn from books in the classroom.
Finally, I would like to remind you that you could call our teacher to use her name "Chelsea." However, you couldn't call your teachrs using their name forever in China. They could consider you don't respect them.
