Most people think Bowerbirds are boring. But Bowers are actually natural art makers.

Vogelkop Gardener Bowerbirds are hard to spot but the bird has a secret: the males can build any pleasing objects of any bird.

Bowerbirds are animal artists. The birds create things that humans and birds alike find pleasing.

Somebody said that a Bower's art was a creative and unique process where each bird had their own tastes in art and where each choice was made with care.

These birds creations were not innate, entirely. The younger birds had to learn how to build the best bowers. Either by error or by watching more experienced birds, or both.

Bowerbirds are a close species to the Birds of Paradise.

Bowerbirds are usually found in Australia and New Guinea, they are mainly forest birds.

There are three different kinds of Bowerbirds.

There's the Satin Bowerbird, the MacGregor Bowerbird, and the
Vogelkop Gardener Bowerbirds.
They all make different kinds of homes and art.

Bowerbirds live in a local area throughout their lives.
