• The plague is a disease, commonly
• called the Black Death.
• The Black Death is spread by rats and in the rats
• where fleas with bacteria. The fleas would
• bite someone and they would die within five days.

• The plague doctors (the men with the beaks)
• Thought that the plague was in the air.
• When the graveyards became full they started
• Digging mass graves (a hole with a lot of corpses in them)

• Million. It was reduced by 50% (225million)
• by the Plague.
• It is believed that the rats came of the merchant ships
