KAKA

The kaka have a brush tounge

The kaka eats many berries and fruits.

opossums,pigs & deer are the kakas enemies

The kakas bill is really strong so it can crack hard things

The kaka have a silver head and the kea doesn't

TAKAHE

people thought takahe were extinct and they are really rare and

kapiti island has the most takahe

takahe are flightless and they are vegitarian

Takahe are being bred and rared at mount bruce

In summer the takahe goes higher up into the tussock lands

Takahe eat snow in the winter

LITTLE SPOTTED KIWI

the little spotted kiwi nostrails are at the end of its beack

little spotted kiwi sleep in borrows and sleep during the day

little spotted kiwi are flightless

There are 68,000 kiwis in NZ

There are 5 species of kiwi in NZ

FANTAIL.

fantail hop on there back to collect insects.
