THE BEATITUDES

BLESSED ARE THE POOR IN SPIRIT

• This beatitude means that we should pray for the people who don’t believe in God because they might need gods help.it also means that we should be thankful for everything in our lives.

BLESSED ARE THEY WHO MOURN

• This means that we should pray for the people who are depressed. To show people we care we can comfort them with prayer.

BLESSED ARE THE MEEK

• This means that you should show your love to the people who care about you. Meek means gentle or soft. We can show our love for them by showing them god loves them.

BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO HUNGER AND THIRST

• This means that we should pray for the people who the people who are thirsty and starving all the time. We can work in soup kitchens and give them water when we see them.

BLESSED ARE THE MERCIFUL

• This means to bless those who want mercy and forgiveness. We should apologize and ask for mercy and forgiveness from the person you did wrong doing to.

BLESSED ARE THE CLEAN IN HEART

• This means to ask god for forgiveness in the sacrament of reconciliation. We should see the good in all people.

BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS

• This means that we should not hold a grudge against anyone. We should have peace with each other because we are all apart of Gods family.

BLESSED ARE THEY WHO ARE PERSECUTED FOR THE SAKE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

• This means blessed are those who are not afraid to share their faith with others. They live in their faith and are proud they love God.
