The Beatitudes

BLESSED ARE THE POOR IN SPIRT, FOR THEIRS IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN

• This beatitude means a lot of stuff such as if someone is not close with god or if they have not started their journey to follow God. He will never turn his back on you and he is always their for you when you need it the most

BLESSED ARE THEY WHO MORN, FOR THEY SHALL BE COMFORTED

• This beatitude mean that God will always be by your side, and he will always comfort you
• Such as if a loved one has passed you have to turn to god not away from him

BLESSED THE MEEK, FOR THEY HAVE INHERITED THE EARTH

• This beatitude means that you trust in God and you are a nice person God will reward you
• Such as if you give to the poor, donate, and do charity work he will reward you

BLESSED ARE THEY WHO HUNGER AND THIRST FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS, FOR THEY SHALL BE SATISFIED

• If you hunger and thirst for God, God shall satisfy you with the gifts of the Holy Spirt
• If you have lost your relationship with God he will always forgive you and help you through your hard times

BLESSED ARE THE MERCIFUL,FOR THEY SHALL OBTAIN MARCY

• If you show mercy to other people by being kind mercy will be shown back to you
• Such as if you are nice to people, more people will be nice to you

BLESSED ARE THE PURE IN HEART, FOR THEY SHALL SEE GOD

• The meaning of this beatitude is if you are nice and loyal to everyone, you shall see God
• If you be nice and loyal to everyone then God will make your life more powerful

BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS, FOR THEY SHALL BE CALLED CHILDREN OF GOD

• If you make peace with others God will be very proud and reward you in the future

BLESSED ARE THEY WHO ARE PERSECUTED FOR THE SAKE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, FOR THEIRS IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN

• This means if you die for your faith, the kingdom of heaven will be theirs
• The other meaning of this is that if you die for the love of God, the kingdom of heaven gates are always open for us.
