THE BAMBATHA REBELLION

The Bambatha rebellion only last for less then a year

The setting was near green town in kwaZulu- natal. Today South Africa. South Africa achieve independence on May 31, 1961

The war was between the Zulu and the British. The British first reason was for trade rout but that changes when gold and diamonds were found there.

The Zulu’s leader was chief Bambatha

The British were lead by Colonel Duncan McKenzie

In result the British lost 36 lives
And the Zulu people lost anywhere from 3000 to 4000
With the British on top and taking control back
