MesoAmerica
•Mesoamerica was located in lands stretching from the Valley of Mexico to Costa Rica in Central America. The people that lived there were people called the Olmec, Teotihuacán, and Maya.

Teotihuacán
• Teotihuacán was located near the lake Texcoco. Teotihuacán was a people group that seized control over Olmec trade routes and became the first planned city in America.

Cuzco
• Cuzco was located north of Mesoamerica. The Native Americans lived there in Cuzco and developed their own ways of living.

Cohokia
• Cohokia was in Mesoamerica near present day Illinois. The people that lived there were the Mississippians.
