THE AGRICULTURAL ADJUSTMENT ADMINISTRATION (AAA)

The AAA, or Agricultural Adjustment Administration was established on March 4th, 1902

The AAA was a part of The New Deal program to help farmers by reducing the amount of crops they need and raising the prices for each crop

The Agricultural Adjustment Administration helped farmers earn enough money to stay in business

The AAA was very successful, giving farmers around $1,500,000,000, however, some people thought that it violated the 10th amendment, because it invaded the state's descicions

The AAA was shutdown on January 6th, 1936 because the government thought it was a violation to the tenth amendment
