WHO: James Madison wrote the 6th amendment. The 15th amendment was written by the Republicans.

WHAT: The 6th amendment gave the right to trial by jury. The 15th amendment gave the right to all men to vote no matter by its color, race, or religion.

WHERE: The 6th and 15th amendment are located in the United States.

WHEN: The 6th amendment was presented on September 25, 1783 and ratified December 15, 1791. The 15th amendment was passed to congress February 26, 1880. It was ratified February 3, 1870.

WHY:The Founding Fathers made the 6th amendment because they wanted to protect basic rights when accused of a felony.The 6th amendment provides a chance to defend yourself in court. The 15th amendment was made so that every man no matter race could vote.
