Solids, liquids and gases are all made of matter. They all have particles. They are also all made of atoms. And all have volume and shape.

Solids, liquids and gases have things that are the same but things that are different. They are different because their particles move at different speed, and the particles in a solid are close together, in a liquid they are farther apart and in a gas they are very spread apart.
