Seater/Greeter

  • You are the first and last impression of guests.
  • Smile all the time! :)
  • Seat guest with bread, silverware and conversation
  • Read your Chit correctly!
  • Find out if the guest is a first time guest.

  • Tell them the story!!
  • Write them on the clipboard.
  • Tell a manager!

  • Do y'all come here often? How was y'all's last visit?
  • Follow the 10'-4' rule.
  • Participate in the host wheel. Why? When?
  • Tell each guest three parts of the story!

Updater

-update which tables are open
-Work side by side with SA's
-Help with restroom checks and with the large party set ups.




UPDATER

  • Update the tables through AGM.
  • Sun-Thurs update tables when an SA touches it.
  • Fri&Sat update the table when it is dirty.
  • Only the Updater and hostesses can touch the AGM.
  • Look at table times so you don't double update tables.

  • The SA's are your partners!
  • Put bread plates on all tables-and pick up large white trash
  • Set up large party tables with silverware when asked
  • Restroom checks. Sun-Thurs every 30 min.
  • Talk to a manager if you have a problem.

-While on a wait-you are the greeter.
-Takes a party's name, # of people and special needs.
-Gives pager.

  • SMILE-Hi how many? Why?
  • Quote times. 1 name=1 minute
  • Special need? Add time or large party
  • What is considered a large party?
  • How is it handled? What if the party adds people?
