Ambiance
OG: very nice summery feel, very clean, and open to the sun (lunch time)
TRH: greeted nicely upon entrance, theme of restuarant goes with menu, not crowded.

4.
Menu
OG: lunch menu was smaller but did have a wide variety, slightly overpriced, smaller portions offered.
TRH: has something for everyone on the menu, prices seem reasonable

overall rating
OG: Adequate because our server was not good. The food was fantastic, but the server made out experience not so good.
TRH: Fabulous, good food and lots of it. Not a very long wait time, and salads and bread to eat while waiting.

in conclusion...
Both were great restaurants. the difference was our service. Thoroughly enjoyed the food at both restaurants.
Olive Garden is a good place to go for a date or a family dinner.
Texas Roadhouse is more of a place to go with some friends.
