  • Specific learning disablity that is neurologic in orgin
  • Difficulty in learning to read, write, or spell, despite conventional instruction

  • oral reading is slow, innacurate or labored
  • spelling

Risk Factors

  • Delay in learning to talk
  • Difficulty recognizing common sight words
  • Difficulty with written expression
