I chose the app Explain Everything because it allows you to record your lessons as you teach or pre-record if you want to flip your class. It is an easy interactive white board that records your voice and what you write. You can easily import power points that are already created or quickly create your own slides. It also allows you to stop, back up, and re-record if you mess up.

I like www.polleverywhere.com because of the simplicity of it. You can quickly create a single poll and have students answer it on any type of device. It instantly shows you live results. Great for quick formative lesson checks.

www.weebly.com is a simple way to create a class website. All of the templates are pre-built and you just drag in whatever you need.

https://cel.ly/solutions/education is a great way to safely communicate with parents and students. You can change the settings to only send message or make it an interactive chat line. It works with normal texting or with the app.

http://screencast-o-matic.com/ is a quick way to record your computer screen. It records both your voice and computer screen. You can use this to flip your class or help explain what you would like your students to do on their computers.

www.remind.com is a quick way to remind students of homework assignments and to notify parents of upcoming test and events.

www.ixl.com is the best website I have found for math. You just simply pick the class and topic you want to practice. Students work the problems and if they get it incorrect it gives them the correct answers and explains how to do the problem correctly.

www.keepvid.com is a quick way to download YouTube videos for students. Download instructional videos if students are blocked from YouTube or if they don't have internet at home.

www.getkahoot.com is a web based assessment tool. Quickly build quizzes, surveys, or discussions. You can also set-up the game feature where students compete against each other.

www.airserver.com is a program that allows you to display your ipad screen to your computer and smartboard. It allows walk around the room and write notes on your smartboard. You will never have to turn your back to the class again to write on the board.
