What is Radius?

  • The radius of a circle is the length of the line from the center to any point on its edge. The plural form is radii (pronounced "ray-dee-eye"). In the figure above, drag the orange dot around and see that the radius is always constant at any point on the circle.

What is Length?

Distance. How far from end to end. Or from one point to another.

Length is the most extended dimension of an object.

what is Perimeter?

  • The word perimeter means a path that surrounds an area. It comes from the Greek word 'peri,' meaning around, and 'metron,' which means measure.

The perimeter is the distance around a two-dimensional shape.
