FILE EXTENSIONS

• Is a suffix to the name of a computer file applied to indicate the encoding
• For example ; .png, .jpeg, .exe, .dmg, .txt

SOFTWARE

• The programs and other operating information used by a computer
• Examples of software are safari, google chrome and Firefox.

APPLICATIONS

• Application is all the computer software that causes a computer useful tasks.
• Examples are twitter, flappy birds, and weather channel

OPERATING SYSTEMS

• The software that supports a computers basic functions.

RAM

• A type of computer memory that can be accessed randomly

ROM

• Once data is stored in the rom it can't be deleted only read
• A cd is an example of a ROM

TYPES OF COMPUTERS

• The types of computers are PC, and laptop.
• Example would be a Mac book pro and a dell PC.

CLOUD COMPUTING

• The practice of using a network of remote servers hosted on the internet.
• Also cloud computing stores manages and processes data.

SERVER

• A computer program that manages access to a centralized resource.

PERMANENT STORAGE DEVOCES& STORAGE CAPACITY

• Permanent storage device is also know as a hard drive stores the computers data
• The storage captivity is the amount of storage the hard drive can hold
