HOW DO THEY GET THEIR ENERGY?

  • Barnacles and the whale they ride on eat plankton

WHAT IS EACH ORGANISM'S ROLE?

  • The whale gives the barnacle a ride
  • The barnacle rides on the whale to get to the plankton

WHAT KIND OF SYMBIOTIC RELATIONSHIP?

  • Tapeworms and dogs have a parasitism relationship. In which one is benefited while the other is harmed.

  • Dogs mainly get their energy from their food and water. The richer the food is, the more energy they get.

WHAT IS EACH ORGANISM'S ROLE?

  • The tapeworm takes the nutrients from the host.
  • The host ( animal or person) gives the tapeworm the nutrients the host needs to survive.

APHIDS AND ANTS

WHAT KIND OF SYMBIOTIC RELATIONSHIP DO THEY HAVE?

  • Aphids and ants have a mutalism relationship in which both benefit

WHERE ARE APHIDS FOUND?

  • Aphid are found around the world in both temperate and tropical habitats on or near the plants they eat.

WHERE ARE ANTS FOUND?

  • Ants can be found almost anywhere in the world with the exception of extremely remote islands and Antarctica.

HOW DO APHIDS GET THEIR ENERGY?

  • Aphids are herbivores so they eat plants.

HOW DO ANTS GET THEIR ENERGY?

  • Ants are omnivores they eat fruit, meat, seeds, and vegetables depending on the type of ant

WHAT IS EACH ORGANISMS ROLE?

  • The aphids give the ants food in return for protection
