DOGS AND HUMANS

  • This is a fantastic example of mutualism.
  • You get a cuddle buddy, a companion, affection, someone to play with, elevated stress, etc.
  • The dog gets food, shelter, a snuggle buddy, belly rubs, affection, companionship and playtime

SEA ANEMONE AND HERMIT CRABS

  • This is an example of commensalism
  • The sea anemone gets a free ride

TOUNGE EATING LOUSE

  • This happens to be a parasite
  • It attaches itself to a fishes tounge and eventually eats it
  • The parasite then works as the fishes tounge
  • This parasite gets lots of meals this way, even after the tounge is gone
