SYMBIOSIS BY BECKHAM SONNABEND

A RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TWO KINDS OF ORGANISMS FOR A LONG TIME.

MUTUALISM

  • A relationship between 2 organisms that benefits both.
  • For example the Redbilled Oxpecker picks parisites off of the Impala.
  • Many primates like to pick parisites of of othe organisms backs to eat them

PARASITISM

  • The relationship between two organisms where one species,the parasite is benifited and the host is harmed
  • For example, the flea latches onto various animals and feeds off of the host.
  • The tape worm live inside of animas such as dogs and feeds off of the the food they digest.
  • Head louse lives in the humans scalp and feed off of the humans blood

COMMENSILISM

  • The relationship between two organisms where it benefits one species and does no harm to the other
  • The clownfish lives in the sea anemone for protection.
  • Many vines and plants live on trees sometimes because the ground is to rough or soft
  • An golden jackal that is no longer apart of an pack will follow an predator and feeds off of the leftovers the predator kills
