  • MOUNTAIN GOAT EATS THE GRASS
  • MOUNTAIN LION EATS THE GOAT

THE HOOF

  • The Mountain Goat has a foot that is encased in a hard nail like covering.
  • Mountain Goats hoofs are split into two parts and are like toes because they can each move separately that helps the Mountain Goat get a good grip in high rocky places.
  • Each half of a mountain goats hoof has a sharp edge plus a rubbery pad together these add extra grip to keep it from slipping.

ADAPTATIONS

  • The hoof (helps it get a grip)
  • The pad (keeps it from slipping)
  • The fur (keeps it warm)
