LOCATION

  • Sweden, between Norway and Finland. Sweden is around Stockholm.
  • Stockholm's exact location is 59.3294° N, 18.0686° E Northern Europe

MAJOR PHYSICAL FEATURES

  • Sweden and Norway's border is covered by the Scandinavian mountains.
  • One of Sweden's largest rivers is Angerman.
  • Some of the largest lakes include Varern and Vattern.

MAJOR HUMAN FEATURES

  • Stockholm. This city hall building belongs to most outstanding examples of National Romantic style.
  • The massive building was constructed in 1911 - 1923 and its dominant is 106 m tall tower.

HUMAN/ENVIORMENT INTERACTION

  • Environment affects humans - On the last Ice Age, a lot of Sweden was covered with ice.
  • When the ice melted (6,000 BC) it left in its wake a jagged coastline with many islands,
  • and innumerable lakes, rivers and steams. That made new places to visit.
  • In Sweden people use a lot cars or vehicles, which can cause air pollution.
