PRESENTATION OUTLINE
What is it?
Supernovas are a powerful explosion. They happen when a massive star (even bigger than the sun) run out of nuclear fuel in there cores. Which means they can’t give out any more energy. So the core fails and the star blows up.
Size
The size really depends on the size of the star. Also It expands during the explosion
Supernovas can be anywhere in any galaxy. One supernova that was visible to the eye was SN 1987A. It was around 168,000 light years away
Just about everything on earth is made of elements that came from stardust
