Batman

CREATED BY Bob kane AND bill finger, FIRST APPEARED in DC COmics IN 1939.

Batman: The Movie (1966): "When Batman and Robin get a tip that Commodore Schmidlapp is in danger aboard his yacht, they launch a rescue mission. But the tip is a set-up by four of the most powerful villains ever, who seek to defeat the Dynamic Duo once and for all."

Batman (1989): "After a young boy witnesses the murder of his parents on the streets of Gotham City, he grows up to become a mysterious figure in the eyes of Gotham City's citizens, known as Batman. He takes crime-fighting within the city into his own hands. Jack Napier becomes horribly disfigured after a firefight in a chemical factory, and becomes known as the Joker. Now, the Joker is out for revenge on his former employer."

Batman Returns (1992): "Gotham City faces two monstrous criminal menaces: the bizarre, sinister Penguin and the slinky, mysterious Catwoman. Can Batman battle two formidable foes at once?"

Batman Forever (1995): "Robin has teamed up with Batman, and this time evil is in the guise of The Riddler and Harvey 'Two Face' Dent. Batman has added tension as psychologist Chase Meridian is anxious to find out who Batman is."

Batman & Robin (1997): "Batman and Robin have teamed up with Batgirl, and now they must fight Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy before they freeze Gotham City."

Batman Begins (2005): "In the wake of his parents' murder, disillusioned heir Bruce Wayne travels the world seeking the means to fight injustice and turn fear against those who prey on the fearful. Wayne returns to Gotham City and with the help of his trusted butler Alfred, detective Jim Gordon and his ally Lucius Fox, unleashes his alter ego, Batman."

The Dark Knight (2008): "With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman raises the stakes on his war on crime and sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations that plague the city streets. The partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known to the terrified citizens of Gotham as The Joker. The Joker, whose eerie grin, laughter, and inhuman morality makes him dangerous. Batman seeks to stop the mysterious Joker at all costs."

The Dark Knight Rises (2012): "It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act."

Captain America: The First Avenger (2011): “After being deemed unfit for military service, Steve Rogers volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into Captain America, a Super Soldier. Now, as Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes and Peggy Carter to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull.”

Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014): “Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn.”

Fantastic four

Fantastic Four (2005): "After exposure to cosmic radiation, four astronauts become the most remarkable, if not most dysfunctional, superheroes of all time. Reed Richards is the leader of the group and gains the ability to stretch all parts of his body, he takes the name Mr. Fantastic. His girlfriend, Sue Storm, gains the ability to turn invisible and create force fields, calling herself the Invisible Woman. Her younger brother Johnny Storm gains the ability to control fire, including covering his own body with flame and is thus named the Human Torch. Pilot Ben Grimm is turned into a super-strong rock creature and decides to call himself the Thing. Together, they use their unique powers to explore the strange aspects of the world, and to foil the evil plans of Doctor Doom."

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007): "When the Silver Surfer arrives on Earth, army General Hager demands that Reed Richards create a sensor to track him and find out what he's doing on Earth. The only problem is that Richards is helping Sue Storm plan their rescheduled wedding. Ben Grimm is heating up his relationship with Alicia and Johnny Storm is trying to get sponsorships and girls. Returning is Victor Von Doom, who gladly offers to assist the military in figuring out what the Silver Surfer is all about."

Green lantern

Green Lantern (2011): "In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. When a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected."

HUlk

Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, first appeared in Marvel Comics in 1962.

Hulk (2003): “A scientist performs regeneration experiments on himself, and passes on the genes to his son, Bruce. Now Bruce is performing experiments that expose him to radiation and nanomeds, which combined with his unique genes, unleashes the Hulk.”

The Incredible Hulk (2008): “Bruce Banner has been living in the shadows, scouring the earth for an antidote. Warmongers dream of abusing his powers and won't leave Bruce alone. He suffers from his constant need to be with the only woman he has ever loved, Betty Ross, and Bruce knows that he must return to civilization. The brilliant doctor is ruthlessly pursued by a nightmarish beast of pure adrenaline and aggression called The Abomination whose powers match that of the Hulk. Now, a fight of epic proportions ensues as Bruce must call upon the hero within to rescue New York City from total destruction.”

Iron Man

Created by stan lee, Larry Lieber, Don Heck, and Jack kirBy,, first APPEARed in Marvel comics in 1963.

Iron Man (2008): “A wealthy industrialist is held captive in enemy territory and escapes by building a high-tech suit made of armor. When he returns home, he decides to use his money, talents, and suit to save the world.”

Iron Man 2 (2010): “Now that the world knows billionaire inventor Tony Stark is the armored super hero Iron Man, his life has suddenly become even more intense. Everyone wants in on the Iron Man technology, whether for power or profit, but for Ivan Vanko, it's revenge. With Pepper Potts and James 'Rhodey' Rhodes at his side, Stark must once again suit up and face his most dangerous enemy yet.”

Iron Man 3 (2013): “When Tony Stark/Iron Man finds his entire world reduced to rubble, he must use all his ingenuity to survive, destroy his enemy, and somehow protect those he loves. But a soul-searching question haunts him: Does the man make the suit, or does the suit make the man?”

Spider-Man

Spider-Man (2002): "After being bitten by a radioactive spider on a school field trip, Peter Parker finds himself gaining spider-like qualities. Adopting the name Spider-Man, Peter first uses his new skills to make money, but when the Green Goblin, another altered super-human, kills Peter's uncle, he swears to use his 'spider-skills' to fight evil. Along the way he has to juggle a new job as a local reporter, and a budding romance with a beautiful former-classmate, MJ."

Spider-Man 2 (2004): "Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, is desperately trying to balance his dual identities. Relationships with all those he holds dear are unraveling, and he encounters a new foe, Doctor Octopus. Peter must use all his powers to stop this diabolical madman."

Spider-Man 3 (2007): "Just as Peter Parker achieves the ability to balance his relationship with Mary Jane Watson with his responsibilities as Spider-Man, a strange black entity from another world bonds with him. Consequently, he must contend not only with new villains in the form of the Sandman, Venom and the New Goblin, but with intensifying darkness within."

The Amazing Spider-Man (2012): "Peter Parker stumbles across a clue as to why his parents vanished when he was young, and soon finds himself on a collision course with his dad's former partner, Dr. Curt Connors."

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014): "Spider-Man's conflict has been within himself: the struggle between Peter Parker and the responsibilities of Spider-Man. But Peter Parker, finds that his greatest battle is about to begin. It's great to be Spider-Man, but being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: Oscorp."

Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987): "Archvillain Lex Luthor, determined to make the world safe for nuclear arms merchants, creates a new being to challenge the Man of Steel, the radiation-charged Nuclear Man. The two super-powered foes clash and Superman saves the Statue of Liberty, repulses a volcanic eruption of Mount Etna, rebuilds the demolished Great Wall of China and performs many more spectacular feats."

X-Men (2000): "A war is brewing between those with special powers (mutants) and the rest of humanity -- and the only ones who can save the humans from certain destruction are a special group of mutants - the 'X-Men.'"

X2: X-Men United (2003): "An assassination attempt is made on the life of the president by a teleporting mutant. This act upsets the entire world and entices the president to begin the mutant-human war as predicted by Charles Xavier earlier. In an effort to get to the bottom of the attack and prevent world-wide war, Xavier sends out Storm and Dr. Jean Grey to search for the teleporting mutant and discover the truth behind the assassination attempt."

X-Men: The Last Stand (2006): "With the help of their new recruits, The Beast and Angel, the X-Men must face evolution itself in the form of their former teammate, Jean Grey. Possessed with the cosmic power of the Dark Phoenix, the resurrected Jean Grey has become a danger to herself, her mutant comrades, and the entire planet. A potential cure is discovered and processed to treat and ultimately eliminate the genetic mutations, once and for all. As the battle lines are drawn, the X-Men must contend with both Jean Grey's world-consuming powers, as well as the malevolent Brotherhood."

X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009): "This prequel to the X-Men film trilogy focuses on the mutant Wolverine and his time with Team X. Somewhere in the wilds of northwest Canada in the early 1800s, Logan and Victor, two half-brothers with special powers grow up amid violence. Eventually they will become the near-indestructible warriors known as Wolverine and Sabretooth. William Stryker is a sinister government operative whose Weapon X program experiments keep pulling Wolverine back in. Kayla Silverfox shares a peaceful Canadian co-existence with Wolverine as he tries to drop out of the program. Along the way, Wolverine encounters many mutants, both familiar and new."
