THE UNBREAKABLE CODE

John's Grandfather starts to tell him about the unbreakable code.

Starting with how when he was little he had to go to a government boarding school because it was the law. They cut all his hair off and forbidden him to speak Navajo.

One night when the grandfather was in tenth grade he heard on the radio "Navajo needed for special duty to the Marines." Two weeks later he was on a bus heading to boot camp.

At boot camp.

THEY WERE USED TO SEND SECRET MESSAGES.

THE GOVERNMENT THOUGHT THE NAJAIO LANGUAGE WOULD BE THE ONE THE JAPANESE COULDN'T UNCODE.
