Sumerian people were polytheistic

is the belief of multiple deities also usually assembled into a pantheon of gods and goddesses

God of heaven, the firmament

God of the air (from Lil = Air); patron deity of the city of Nippur

God of freshwater, male fertility, and knowledge; patron deity of Eridu

Goddess of warfare, female fertility

Goddess of the earth

God of the moon; one of the patron deities of the city of Ur

An air goddess and wife of Enlil; one of the matron deities of Nippur

God of war, agriculture, one of the Sumerian wind gods
