Subway
Metro-a unique form of transport in which the problem of transport in Metropolitan areas is almost solved.
Homeland metro is the London. The first station opened here in 1863, and underground area, which was moving the train, made up only 3.6 kilometers. The cars, the locomotive filled with smoke, was far from comfort, but perfectly coped with its task – offload traffic. Not surprisingly, following the London subway, 1884 issue was with the length of 30 km in Electric trains first appeared in London in 1890

In the early XX century Moscow's population has reached 1200, 000 people. Thousands of cabs, Conca and even the tram did not solve the problem of transport. The history of the subway began in Russia in 1901. Architect P. I. Balinsky, an engineer E. K. Knorre and artist N. Karazin.N. made a project of creating in Moscow, electric Railways.
The first subway was conceived as a mixed, with the underground part of the red, Tubular and Voskresensky areas. Ground half way engineers had planned to put on the racks. The project cost length of 54 kilometers amounted to 155 million roubles. The funding was supposed to be private, therefore deductions in the city budget the creators of the project did not foresee. For this reason, the support of the authorities of the pilot Metropolitan has not received, and therefore did not take place.
