The BYOD program encourages students to bring their own personal devices to school for use as an educational tool.

  • phones
  • tablets
  • laptops
  • e-readers

  • work together in groups
  • use educational apps
  • share projects and presentations

THE BYOD PROGRAM IS NOT FOR...

  • socializing in school
  • checking grades in class
  • taking photos in school
  • contacting home during class

DON'T FORGET...

  • you're not required to participate
  • you're responsible for your own device
  • your phone should be on silent when in use
  • your phone should be off when not in use

REMEMBER...

  • sharing your device is discouraged
  • our policies differ from the high school
  • to charge your device before school
  • there are consequences for breaking the policy
  • each teacher decides if and how a device is used
