Dos to straightening your hair
1. Use a good shampoo and conditioner; if you have damaged hair use one with protein if you have dry hair use a moisture based product
2. Apply your oils or serums after you straighten your hair; since oils and serums are liquid based if you apply heat it will fry your hair just as it would in a deep fryer
Donts of straightening your hair
1. Keeping your straightener close to your scalp; this is extremely dangerous because it will burn your head which could cause blisters
2. Keep the iron in one place; move around! The iron will fry your hair causing split ends and if it gets too hot it could burn off
FINALLY DIFFERENT WAYS TO STRAIGHTEN
Flat iron
An iron clamp that has two heat panels on each side; straightens hair by closing the clamps on the hair and gliding down with extreme heat
Blow dryer
A heat blower used to dry your hair; just brush your hair and as you're brush hold the blow dryer against it
Keratin treatment
Adding keratin supplement to your hair and it straightens out
Japanese treatment
A combination of heat and chemicals causing the hair to straighten also cost $500-$800 for one treatment that last 4-6 months
