* Regrow lost body parts (legs)
* Tarantulas defend themselves by throwing needle-like barbed hairs at their attackers
Food preference:
* large insects like crickets and grasshoppers
* larger tarantulas will also eat frogs, toads and small rodents like mice
Distinctive trait:
* very big, hairy and beefy legs
*the largest tarantulas have a leg span of nearly 10 inches, or about the size of a dinner plate
Why is it disgusting:
it looks hairy, creepy and dangerous!
Conclusion:
I would not want a tarantula in my bed!
