  • How impactful is it?
  • Why was it created?
  • What technology was used and why?
  • What was the purpose?

THE SEARCH

WHAT I DISCOVERED

  • There were several different things used to make the sound effects.
  • The lightsabre sound was a hammer striking an electric wire.
  • George Lucas was inspired by Flash Gordon and The Wizard of Oz.
  • Ben Burtt was in charge of the unique sound effects of Star Wars.
  • The screech of a TIE Fighter is a drastically altered elephant bellow.

WHAT I DISCOVERED(CONT.)

  • I had no idea the creativity it took to make it.
  • I will admit that i did put this off a little bit.
  • There may have been some laziness here and there.
  • Over all, I feel like this is a fun thing to do when it is something interesting.
  • That is what I have discovered.
