•On the Rock of Peter, Jesus established his Church
•Christ gave Peter and all his successors, the bishops and the Popes, the responsibility to preach the Gospel down through the ages
•We follow the footsteps of St. Peter by following Jesus, preaching the Good News, and being a morally good Christian
