St.Cecilia is a saint because she died as a martyr for burying her husband and brother in law who died as martyrs because they would not give up their faith and helped the families who lost a family member to martyrdom.

The story of saint Cecilia is that she wanted to become a nun, but her parents arranged for her to marry a pagan nobleman and so she prayed and converted him before they got married
