- The sport originated from the U.S. And Canada
- It was first played in the Olympics in 1905
- Women began to play it in 2006

How to play the sport
You can't push or pass the lead skater. A bell rings to warn the skater they are a lap away from the finish line. Need to play sport on an ice rink.
Rules of sport
32 skaters participate in the sport. 4 skaters go at a time. The top 2 who finish go to the next round.
