Exploring Space

  • Space exploration is our human response to curiosity about Earth, the moon, the planets, the sun and other stars, and the galaxies. Piloted and unpiloted space vehicles venture far beyond the boundaries of Earth to collect valuable information about the universe. Human beings have visited the moon and have lived in space stations for long periods.

Rocket Impact on the Enviroment

  • -Rocket Fuel impact on the environment: What impact do rockets have on the environment? As well as stratospheric ozone, launch emissions have the potential to impact climate change through the release of black carbon into the stratosphere.

Cryogens: Liquid Nitrogen or cryogenics:

  • Nitrogen is a nonmetallic chemical element. It occurs in nature as a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas. This gas makes up about 78 percent of the earth's atmosphere by volume. Daniel Rutherford, a Scottish physician, discovered nitrogen in 1772.
