WHAT DO THEY EAT?
- They eat a diet of mammals such as:
- Deer,boar,cattle,goats,wild boar
- There smaller prey is: rabbits and porcupines
WHERE DO SOUTH CHINA TIGERS LIVE
THE SOUTH CHINA TIGER LIVES IN FOREST AND MOUNTAINS IN SOUTH CHINA.
What Can SOUTH China Tigers DO
- The South China Tiger is very fast. It can run 35to40 miles per hour. The south China tiger can be mean and solitary to other tigers and does not live in a pack.
What are their babies like? VERY PLAYFUL, LIKE TO SLEEP,LIKE TO BE BY their MOTHER. AND THEY CAN GIVE BIRTH TO 3 TO 6 AT A TIME. The babies only weigh 2 pounds when born.
Interesting facts: there are only about 4 remaining. It has not been seen in the wild for the past 25 years. Males weigh 290 to 390 pounds and a the female weighs 240 to 250 pounds. The south China Tigery is a strong swimmer. Their only enemy is humans because poaching and habitat loss.
