Sophisticated Ladies LLC, in the making

WHAT STEPS DO YOU PLAN TO GO BY TO ACHIEVE OPENING “SOPHISTICATED LADIES?”

  • Enroll in Paul Mitchell.
  • Get accepted into the Esthetics program.
  • Be optimistic and have a clear mind
  • Be accepting to all areas of esthetic services.

WHEN SCHOOL BEGINS..

  • Obtain and successfully complete the required amount of credit hours (750).
  • Complete all assignments that are assigned and study hard.
  • Begin to build clientele in the process of doing hands on work in class.
  • Use family members and friends as models to perfect my craft.
  • Make honors and deans list while enrolled at Paul Mitchell.

THE TIME HAS COME!!

  • Upon completing 750 credit hours…
  • Graduate in December of 2021.
  • Work in a spa for 6-8 months.
  • Practice all the techniques that were learned in school.
  • Continue to build clientele list.
  • Continue to set goals, as the sky is the LIMIT!

IT COSTS TO BE THE BOSS, LET’S TALK ABOUT FINANCES

  • Create a budget, doing so ensures I won’t overspend.
  • Begin to view salon suites, selecting a town that the majority of my clients reside in, making it an easy commute for regular clients, doing so can bring in more business.
  • Obtain my LLC, for liability purposes.

MOST THINGS DO NOT HAPPEN OVER NIGHT, THE WAITING GAME ….

  • While waiting for approval, brainstorm.
  • Write out finances 3-6 months in advance.
  • Research financial advisors.
  • My godmother is a financial advisor so I will go to her so she can review all financial plan prior to being accepted.

WE MADE IT !!

  • Once approved for LLC and the salon suite of my choice.
  • Notify clients 1 full month in advance before my departure.
  • Purchase equipment and decor upon signing the lease and getting the keys to my suite in the meantime.
  • Put in my two weeks at the spa.

CELLLLLEBRATE GOOD TIMES, COME ON

  • Go public on all social media platforms.
  • Send thank you cards to all family, friends, and clients.
  • Host a grand opening celebration party in my salon suite.
  • Remain humble, while doing my dream job that I’ve worked so hard to be able to do.
