• God came to Solomon in a dream and said he would give David whatever he desired.

1ST KINGS CHAPTER 3

• Instead of asking for riches or wives or material things God admired him and he gave him the gift of ultimate wisdom.

WHY WAA SOLOMONS WISDOM IMPORTANT?

• Solomon ran a great nation and he needed his wisdom to run the nation and make smart decisions for the benefit of his people
• Also Solomon needed his wisdom to keep on the path of the Lord (that didn't work)

HOW DID SOLOMON USE HIS WISDOM?

• He used his wisdom to write books for the bible and he also used his wisdom, power, and riches to build a great temple for the house of the Lord
