HOW DOES THIS TECHNOLOGY WORK

  • Light hits the roof's solar panels with photons.
  • The solar panel converts those photons into electrons of direct current electricity.
  • The electrons flow out of the solar panels and into a inverter and other electrical safety devices.
  • The inverter converts the DC power into AC power.

HOW COULD THIS ENERGY SOURCE BE USED?

IT IS USED TO POWER HOMES, CARS, APPLIANCES, BUSINESSES, AND CITIES.

SOME EXAMPLES OF THIS IS?

  • Solar panels
  • Solar panels are on most calculators.

WHAT EFFECT DOES IT HAVE ON THE ENVIRONMENT?

  • It creates less pollution.

IS IT ACCEPTED

  • Yes many people use than on their houses.
  • People sometimes put them on business buildings.
  • There are even solar powered cars now.
  • I have even seen them being used for a tree house.
  • Even most calculators are solar powered.
