PRESENTATION OUTLINE

SOLAR ENERGY

How it works

The sun's light hits the solar panels with particles of the sub, these solar panels convert the sun's particles into electricity.

How it's used

Solar energy is used to create electricity to power your home, or building, and also to power heating

Examples

Solar energy is used to power many things like refrigerators, warm pools, power fans, power many electrical appliances like light bulbs, and a microwave. Those are just a few examples of what solar energy can power.

Environmental effects

It has a positive effect on the environment because it is an unlimited resource that doesn't contribute to pollution or global warming. Though it does take up lots of space, but all these solar energy facilities can be put in abandoned land that isn't good for farming, that way it doesn't take away agricultural land, so that solves that problem. In conclusion it has a positive effect.

Acceptance
This technology is, for the most, widely accepted because it's an unlimited resource and doesn't harm the earth. One of the only problems is that it is a bit expensive, but in tome the price will go down. For the most part more and more people everyday accept solar energy for it's many benefits.

Pros and cons

Pros: renewable, abundant, sustainable, environmentally friendly, and it reduces electricity costs.

Cons: it's expensive and sometimes uses exotic materials.
