  • One danger is getting diseases while you are on a trip and being in bad health conditions. To prevent that make sure you have had all of the right vaccinations and they help travelers of all ages.

  • Walking on rough trails carelessly or with inattentiveness could lead to stumbling or falling. To prevent this from happening take a smoother trail or keep watch in what your doing to make sure you don't fall.

  • The most common hiking injury is a twisted ankle, it is most likely to happen when going downhill and at night. To prevent this make sure you wear propose shoes and also hike more in the day when you are more aware of your surroundings.

  • A lot of people fall while hiking because of going to fast so they lose balance,trip over a tree root,or the trail could be wet. To prevent falling from these things stay aware of your footing and and slow down your pace.

  • Do not use any alcohol or drugs when hiking because it will cause dizziness and carelessness. To prevent this the simple answer would be to just not bring them on your hiking/camping trip.

  • Common causes of an animal attack while hiking/ camping is because of loud noises,surprising an animal at close range,getting too close to a carcass or other food sources,startling a female bear with cubs,or hiking off trail. To prevent these things you should be aware of your surroundings,don't go anywhere alone or at night,stay on trails, and always stay with your gear.

  • Bears and other animals will eat your food and take your things if left out in the open.To prevent this do not leave your food and leftovers,beverages, or other supplies unattended, keep them up and out of reach of animals especially bears.

  • One device to use would be a walking stick which helps keep some pressure off of your legs when hiking and helps you keep your balance.

  • Another device that you could use is rope so you can attach luggage to keep out of reach of animals.

  • A first aid kit can help so if you get a cut or a scrap you can protect it from getting infected.

  • The most important device that you would want to have when hiking or camping would be a flashlight to be able to see what you are doing and wear you are going if you are out hiking and it gets dark or you need to go somewhere in the dark.
