PRESENTATION OUTLINE

What would you like the people that buy this t-shirt to know about you?

The story of the people who make the t-shirts starts here with what they want us to know about them which helps to see them as the humans that they are and the everyday things they do just like you and I.

"Brews his own beer and mead"

This person wants us to know that he brews his own beer. When he isn’t working he brews beer and knowing this helps to humanize him because it tells us something he does on his own time.

"Plays ping pong and sings karaoke while at sea."

When navigating ships, this person wants us to know that they like to play ping pong and sing karaoke. Knowing helps to humanize him because it tells us something he does on his own time just like any of us would.

"Recently adopted an Airedale rescue puppy named Finnegan."

This person wants us to know that she recently adopted a rescue puppy. Knowing this helps to humanize her because she is sharing stuff that happens in her personal life just like stuff happens in our personal life. This helps us to see that she doesn't just make the t-shirt, she does things just like you and I alike.

“I have a recurring dream that I'm crossing a big river. While crossing, the boat sinks in the middle, but I get out and swim across the river.”

This person who works in the garment industry wants us to know that she has a recurring dream every night. This helps to humanize her because everybody has dreams.

"Watches the Weather Channel at night when he can't sleep."

When this person can't sleep, he watches the weather channel. This helps to humanize him because all of us do something when we can’t sleep, either to try and go to sleep or just stay up.

"His daughter is an education major at Mississippi State."

He wants us to know that his daughter is an education major. Knowing this helps to humanize him because it shows that he is a father, like many men in the world.

"Plays in a reggaeton band called La Tropilla."

This person wants us to know that he plays in a band when not working. Knowing this helps to humanize him because it tells us something he does when he is not working.

"Has the names of his children tattooed on his arms."

He wants us to know that he has the names of his children tattooed on his arms. This helps to humanize him because this shows that he really cares about his children like many other parents in the world.

"A person with dreams and hopes, who wants to get ahead. People with needs, humble but also with dreams."

All the people that make up the clothing industry and who help make the t-shirt, they are all humans, they all have lives, and they all do things other than work. Just like me and you.
