The young leave their nest a month after they hatch.
A Month and a half old they can fly well but parents stay with them for another 10 months.

DIET

  • Eat mammals ranging from song bird
  • To medium size geese and lemmings

Interesting facts

Snowy owls have exelent eye site and good hearing.
